In honor of the bicentennial of James Monroe's first inauguration
as President, the James Monroe Museum is hosting a reenactment of that event on March 4
on the campus of the University of Mary Washington. Any RSV member who would like to participate is encouraged to register by February 28
in order to ensure that we get the relevant information to those who are planning to attend. The event is free and those who attend in period attire will be welcome to stand behind the Presidential party at the podium during the ceremonies. A reception will follow.
